Idaho State Christmas tree moved to Capitol

BOISE - Idaho's Capitol Christmas tree was moved this morning in preparation for the annual ceremonial lighting next week.

The move shut down some streets in downtown Boise during the move, but they are now all back open.

The lighting ceremony will take place at the Statehouse next Monday at 5:30 p.m.

You can enjoy music by Opera Idaho, the Andrus Ambassador Honor Choir, and the 25th Army Band.

Hot chocolate, hot cider and cookies will also be available to keep you nice and toasty during the ceremony.
