An Idaho museum will showcase priceless pre-historic artifacts that garnered attention after a robbery.
The Times-News reports the artifacts will be on display at the Herrett Center for Arts & Science on Saturday. They will be displayed from 1 to 4 p.m.
Display and Collections Director Joey Heck says it may be one of the top 10 collections in the nation. The artifacts from the Ice Age era were found at a site near Fairfield, north of Twin Falls. The report says the items were tools used by some of the earliest known inhabitants of America, the Clovis.
A man broke into the center in April and got away with five replicas of the artifacts. Police arrested one suspect, and all of the pieces have been recovered.
The real artifacts will be well guarded during the view.
