Driver arrested two months after fatal crash

BOISE -- A Boise man has been arrested two months after hitting a pedestrian with his pickup truck.

Darrell Jackson, 58, was arrested Friday and charged with felony vehicular manslaughter, two months to the day after hitting and killing Menite Millien.

According to Boise Police, Jackson's pickup left the road and hit Millien on the sidewalk.

Millien died at the scene. Jackson was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

The Boise Police Crime Lab and Crash Reconstruction Team assisted in the investigation.

Toxicology tests were sent to in-state and out-of-state labs for analysis.
