Car flips in crash, but occupants unhurt

BOISE -- A crash on westbound I-84 Wednesday morning sent two vehicles tumbling off the roadway, but no one in either car was seriously injured, dispatchers say.

The crash happened at 5:45 a.m. near the Stage Stop east of Boise. An SUV and a car collided, then veered off the interstate and onto the berm.

The car flipped onto its roof, scattering parts and contents across the field. The SUV remained upright.

Idaho State Police Cpl. Janet Murakami said the crash happened after the SUV's driver drifted onto the rumble strips, then hit the other vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation. No one has been cited.
