BOISE - A sure sign summer is coming to an end – Saturday will be the last day you can rent rafts and tubes at Barber Park.
It's been a busy floating season on the Boise River. However, cooler weather is expected with highs forecast in the 70s. Floaters should plan accordingly by wearing the proper clothing, footwear and a personal floatation device.
While the river is never technically closed, after Saturday you'll no longer be able to pump up your rafts, rent tubes or ride the shuttles between Barber Park and Ann Morrison Park.
Equipment rentals will be open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday and the Barber Park shuttle service will run from noon until 9 p.m.
