BOISE -- Boise firefighters battled a fire in the foothills Saturday afternoon.
The fire broke out around noon in the area of Warm Springs Avenue and Hidden Ranch Road. The fire blackened around three acres before crews knocked down the flames.
It took them about two hours to get a handle on it.
"Our crews arrived here pretty quickly and started their efforts to contain and extinguish the fire very quickly," said Captain Paul Roberts with Boise Fire.
Firefighters haven't figured out how the fire started.
