MERIDIAN -- A van and pick-up crash at the intersection of Chinden and Star Road sent two men to the hospital.
Ada County officials say the crash happened just after 6 p.m. on Saturday, where a truck with one adult and two children ran a red light, hitting a van with two men inside.
According to police, the van was trying to turn left onto Star Road, and had the right of way when it was hit.
"This is a high-speed intersection in rural Ada County," said Sgt. Patrick Calley, with the Ada County Sheriff's Office. "The potential for risk and danger, and injuries are worse, is there."
Again, the two men from the van were taken to a hospital, but police say their injuries are not life-threatening at this point.
The adult driver and children passengers inside the truck were treated and released on scene.
