Two injured in motorcycling crash on Highway 55

BOISE COUNTY -- Two people were injured after crashing their motorcycles Sunday.

It happened on State Highway 55 near the Boise County-Valley County line. 

Jeremy Anderson, 37, from Boise, was riding a motorcycle northbound on SH55 at the 83 mile marker.  While trying to negotiate a left curve, his tires went off the edge of the road. He lost control and went down. 

Nathan McEwen, 31, from Boise, was behind Anderson, also on a motorcycle. McEwen was unable to avoid Anderson and crashed.

Both subjects were taken by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.
