GARDEN CITY -- Authorities say two people are in custody after a vehicle pursuit in Garden City this morning.
U.S. Marshals have arrested Matthew Krupp, a fugitive out of Oregon wanted for a probation violation.
A female companion is also in police custody.
The pursuit ended at the West River Inn on Chinden Boulevard just east of Orchard Street.
Local law enforcement agencies assisted with the pursuit.
Contrary to other media reports, there was never a hostage situation, according to the Ada County Sheriff's Office.
