Fiesta Bowl travel deals have already started to be put together. Right after the BCS made the announcement, travel agents started booking the deals.
"As soon as the news broke, we were like 'wooah'," said Soon-hie Sargent, manager at Global Travel.
Sargent is the manager at Global Travel in downtown Boise. She and seven other travel agents worked late Sunday night to answer calls and book deals. Sargent said she took calls from Bronco fans as far away as Sacramento.
Global Travel opened their doors at six Sunday night and they weren't planning to go home until the phones stopped ringing. "We're here booking the fans," said Evelyn Loveless, owner of Global Travel. "It's our job now to get the fans to fill the stadium."
This is another example of how even non-football fans are benefiting from the Fiesta Bowl. Loveless said the deals they're booking are great for fourth-quarter sales, when travel agencies are typically slow.
"The last time we were at the Fiesta Bowl we filled half of that stadium and there was 80,000 seats," Loveless said. "A lot of them drive, and that's great. We just want to fill the stadium and support the Broncos."
And judging by the response at Global Travel, the Broncos should have plenty of fans in the stadium for this year's Fiesta Bowl.
Package deals at Global Travel are for five, three and two night stays. They include charter airfare, hotel-airport transfers, game day transfers, tailgate party, taxes and gratuities. Loveless said the three-day package is their best selling package so far.
There are other travel agencies offering deals. Atlas Cruises and Tours, Diamond Travel, and AAA all have package deals.
Rates range from $429 to $1100 depending on the package and how many people are traveling.
