BOISE -- With the recent arrest of former BSU standout wide receiver Titus Young, KTVB wanted to highlight Young's career both on the football field and off it.

Here's a timeline of Young's career with the Boise State Broncos and Detroit Lions.

May 2007 -- Young joins the Broncos as a true freshmen and leads the team in catches.

October 2008 -- After just three games with BSU, Young is suspended for the remainder of the season for unknown personal reasons.

2009 season -- Young is demoted in the Broncos' depth charts for apparently "mugging the camera" during the Hawaii game. Coach Pete bans him from speaking with the media.

November 2010 -- Young makes a spectacular last-second catch to get the Broncos within field-goal range of a victory over the Nevada Wolfpack. Fans cheer after the kick goes wide. BSU loses its chance to go to a BCS bowl game.

March 2010 -- Young is allowed to speak to the local media.

April 2011 -- Titus Young is drafted by the Detroit Lions.

April 2012 -- Former BSU star QB Kellen Moore signs with Detroit Lions; BSU fans dream of another Moore-Young matchup.

September 2012 -- Young talks with KTVB's Jay Tust, and says he wants to "show the world what I have," but also laments that he's no longer "the number one guy" on the team. Interestingly, he mentions that he's no longer getting the ball on every play.

November 2012 -- Lions coach Jim Schwartz benches Young for what he calls a "pattern of unacceptable behavior."

February 2013 -- Young is kicked off the Lions and becomes the NFL's first postseason casualty of 2013. Reports indicate Young "sucker punched" a teammate in the locker room, among other things.

February 2013 -- Young is picked up as a free agent by the St. Louis Rams but is released just 10 days later after the team said it wanted to "go in a different direction."

May 2013 -- Young is arrested twice in a 15-hour span for alleged DUI and burglary. Get that story here.
