BOISE -- Sunday night was lucky for many people, who donated their hard-earned money to a great cause. But even more importantly, thousands of children will benefit at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital thanks to the generous donations that came in during the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.
The St. Jude Dream Home is worth more than $400,000 and is the first certified NetZero house to be built in Idaho.
To get themselves entered in the giveaway, people bought a ticket for $100, all of which was donated to St. Jude.
The lucky winner of that home was drawn during the 10 o'clock news on Sunday.
KTVB, and St. Jude would like to extend a big congratulations to Ryan Jackson of Boise, Idaho.
Ryan was one of 7,054 people to donate $100 to St. Jude, bringing in a grand total of $705,400 to be given to the children's hospital.
