BOISE -- The 9th annual Sporting Clays Tournament benefitting the Ronald McDonald House drew out lots of shooters this weekend.
Sporting clays simulates field shooting. More than 300 shooters are expected to attend the two-day charity event.
"It's a big sport," said Mindy Plumlee, the executive director of the Ronald McDonald House. "There's actually a lot of people, hundreds of registered shooters throughout the state of Idaho, that many of them come and participate in the event."
Money raised enables the Ronald McDonald House to host families whose children are battling a life-threatening illness or injury.
