NAMPA -- The Canyon County Sheriff's Office is investigating the suspicious death of a 59-year-old man just outside of Nampa.

Deputies are asking for help spotting a 1997 red and black Jeep Wrangler with aftermarket wheels and tires.

The Jeep is missing from the man's home near the 1900 block of South Powerline Road.

Chief Deputy Marv Dashiell says deputies responded to the home around 2:15 p.m. Thursday after someone alerted them to the man's death.

Investigators say the 59-year-old man who lived at the home had external injuries, but the exact cause of death hasn't been determined.

The missing Jeep is registered with Idaho wildlife license plates 60EHE. However, those plates have been removed from the Jeep, and it's unclear what license plates are now on the Jeep, if any.

Anyone who has seen this Jeep is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning and could provide a cause of death.
