BOISE -- The flood watch continues along the Boise River.

The Army Corps of Engineers has been increasing flows out of Lucky Peak to offset the risk of severe flooding later.

But with the river already above flood stage in some areas, emergency officials are preparing for what might happen in the near future.

A spokesperson for the Ada County Sheriff's Office says there are no reports of flooding in north Ada County.  But local agencies are offering sandbags to people in the Eagle and Star areas to protect their homes.

Eagle and Star are usually the first Ada County cities to see flooding from the Boise River.

If you need sandbags, you're advised to contact the fire department in Eagle or Star.
