EAGLE -- Eagle Island Park took a step back into centuries past on Saturday for the Ye Olde Renaissance Fair.
The celebration has been going strong for five years now, with everything from jousting, to magicians and merchants. And it's all for a great cause.
All of the money raised at the renaissance fair is donated to help Treasure Valley families adopt children, and to help local children in foster homes.
"It is actually very important. There's a lot of children out there, foster children, that are looking for homes and families to love them," said Toyann Fong, the fair's volunteer director.
The fair will be at Eagle Island Park again on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and admission is free.
