BOISE -- Help is pouring in to the victims impacted by two major events in our nation---both the Boston Marathon bombing, and the fertilizer plant explosion in West, Texas.
The Red Cross is helping in both situations. In Boston, they sent psychologists to talk with those impacted. In West, Texas, they are setting up a shelter and are giving out hundreds of meals to victims and first responders. Blood is also being supplied to both Boston and West.
Here locally, folks at the Greater Idaho Red Cross say aid efforts across the country are strong.
"Right now the Red Cross, both on the East Coast and in Texas, have all the resources that we need to get the job done," said Barbara Fawcett, of the Greater Idaho Red Cross, located in Boise.
Fawcett says any monetary or blood donations are always helpful.
