BOISE -- They are expecting a full house at the Ada County Courthouse Thursday night, as the Planning and Zoning commission hosts its first public meeting on the controversial Dynamis "trash to energy" project.
As KTVB reported last month, P & Z has no authority over the project, but it does have the ability to conduct a public hearing and then enter those comments into the public record.
Opponents to the Dynamis Project are worried emissions from the gasification facility could be unhealthy. Dynamis has refuted these claims, claiming this project will benefit the environment by reducing trash.
Thursday's meeting will start at 6:00 p.m., in the commissioners main room at the Ada County Courthouse on Front Street.
