HEYBURN -- Police are asking for the public's help locating two persons of interest connected to the death of a Heyburn man.

Officers from several agencies were called to a home near the intersection of 400 South and 850 West roads a little after 2:40 Friday afternoon for reports of a shooting, the Minidoka County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies say once at the home, they found the body of 36-year-old Craig Glen Short, of Heyburn.

Investigators are now looking for 21-year-old Christopher Cruz, who lives at the home, and Cruz's girlfriend, 32-year-old Stephanie Pauline Juarez. Police say the pair may be driving a gray 2002 Chevy Malibu with Idaho license plates 4C84765.

Both Cruz and Juarez are considered persons of interest in the homicide, police said. Anyone with information on their whereabouts are asked to call the Minidoka County Sheriff's Office at (208) 434-2320 or Mini-Cassia Crime Stoppers (208) 436-5353.
