Police hope photo of unique pickup will lead them to metal thieves

BOISE – Boise Police have released a surveillance photo of a unique pickup and two thieves in hopes of solving a recent metal theft case.

Police say two men have been stealing metal shelving from property near N. Orchard Street and N. Irving Street. The thieves entered the property three times over the weekend of March 23-24 and stole metal valued at more than $2,500.

The vehicle used in the thefts is unique, according to police. It appears to be a white mid-1980s Chevy S10 pickup with custom wheels and a prominent antenna.

One of the male suspects may walk with a noticeable limp.

Officers are hoping the public them locate the truck or identify the thieves.
