BOISE -- A Boise man is facing five felony charges after an argument in a west Boise bar turned violent.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Sunday at a bar on the 3000 block of North Five Mile Road in Boise.
Witnesses tell police officers that Tavios Boone got into a verbal argument Sunday night with more than one person before striking one victim with his fist. He then threw a mug of beer, striking a female in the head. She suffered a large laceration which required stitches.
Afterwards, witnesses say Boone went to his vehicle in the parking lot and retrieved a handgun. He then made verbal threats to several people before leaving.
Police were able to identify Boone as the suspect and arrested him Thursday. He was booked into the Ada County Jail.
The 27-year-old Boone is charged with four counts of felony aggravated assault, felony aggravated battery and misdemeanor battery.
