CALDWELL -- A 49-year-old man is in jail after police say he tried to entice two teenage girls into having sex at a Caldwell park Wednesday evening.
According to Caldwell Police, shortly after 7 p.m., two females, ages 13 and 17, were approached in Jaycee Park by Jerry Lee Moore. He allegedly offered to pay the teens to have sex with him. The girls left the park and told their parents about the incident. Police were alerted.
Officers contacted Moore at motel near the park where he has been living. He was taken to the Caldwell Police Department and interviewed by detectives.
Moore was arrested and charged with enticing of children, assault on a police officer, and disorderly conduct. All are misdemeanors. He was booked into the Canyon County Jail.
