BOISE - One accident appears to have caused another Friday afternoon -- involving a ValleyRide bus.
It happened just before 4 p.m. at Franklin Rd. and Phillipi St. A Valley Regional Transit spokesperson says there was a crash on Franklin, and traffic was being routed around the scene. While the bus tried to navigate the detour, the spokesperson says it appears a passenger truck ran a red light and t-boned the #6 Orchard bus.
There was no one on the bus at the time of the accident, but the driver was shaken up, and paramedics took the driver to a local hospital as a precaution.
ValleyRide took the bus out of commission, and a replacement vehicle was brought in to finish the route.
