MARSING, Idaho -- One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 55 Friday morning.
It happened shortly before 5:00 a.m., about 2 miles north of Marsing.
Andrew Olson, 19, of Melba was northbound on State Highway 55 when, for unknown reasons, he went into the emergency lane.
Alfred Hansen, 76, of Ellensburg, WA was parked in the emergency lane in a semi with two flatbed trailers. Olson ran into the rear trailer with his pickup.
Olson was taken to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
He was not wearing his seatbelt and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.
