BOISE -- A man from Washington State has died in a motorcycle crash in Baker County, Oregon.
The crash happened at about 9:30 Wednesday morning on Highway 26 south of Unity.
Oregon State Police say the 35-year-old Michael James Bartlett, from Bremerton, Washington was traveling with another group of motorcycles when he lost control on a curve, and tumbled off the road.
They believe he may have been speeding.
He died at the scene.
Police say he was wearing a helmet.
Baker County Sheriff's Office, Oregon Department of Transportation, and Unity Fire Department assisted OSP at the scene.
