BOISE -- Just in time for Mother's Day, two lucky moms were blessed with the gift of hearing by a Boise business today.

The Audiology and Hearing Aid Center gave each mother a pair of hearing aids valued at over $10,000.

One of the recipients is Crystal Hunter, a new mom who has struggled with hearing loss since childhood.

"A lot of the different things are simple, little noises around the room. I can actually now hear the air conditioning and hear the different things, a little bit, around the room. And then the biggest benefit for being a mom is to be able to actually to hear the baby monitor," said Hunter.

She said her hearing has improved so much that she may not even need the baby monitor anymore.
