BOISE -- One million dollars is up for grab from the Idaho Lottery and the tickets are up for sale at midnight.
At 12:01 a.m. on October 31, the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle tickets will be available at Idaho Lottery retailers. Tickets will cost $10 and only 250,000 will be issued. One winning ticket will be worth a guaranteed $1,000,000.
“This is the third edition of our holiday raffle and what could be a luckier way to start it off than on Halloween?” said Idaho Lottery director Jeff Anderson. “It’s trick-or-treat for grown-ups.”
The raffle offers over 3,000 prizes, more than the two previous years prizes combined. Those prizes include grand prize of $1 million, four $10,000 prizes, 60 $1,000 prizes, 1,000 $100 prizes and 2,000 $50 prizes.
The raffle tickets have a history of selling out quickly. In previous years, they have sold out in 36 days and 53 days.
Idaho Lottery retailers are gearing up for the launch of the game, some of them even taking pre-orders for tickets.
“With the excitement of this year’s Raffle, we are recommending players play responsibly and within their means,” added Anderson.
