POCATELLO -- A 34-year-old Meridian man has been sentenced to 150 months in federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine.
U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson said Cesar Urrea-Navarette pleaded guilty in December to the charge of possession with the intent to distribute in excess of 50 grams of meth.
According to the indictment, Urrea-Navarette met with an undercover cop on July 7, 2011 in a Boise restaurant parking lot. At that meeting, he sold the officer 55 grams of meth in exchange for $2,400. He also admitted possessing meth with the intent to distribute on several other dates.
A co-defendant, Ruben Moreno Sanchez, of Boise, was sentenced for the same crime last September to 151 months in prison.
