BOISE -- The snowy weather was blamed for multiple slide-offs and accidents, and possibly a rollover crash in Horseshoe Bend Friday night.

The Boise County Sheriff's Office says a man drove off Old Emmett Road and rolled his Ford Explorer down a 50-foot embankment and into the Payette River.

The man managed to get out of the car, hike up the hill and track down a passing car for help.

He was taken to the Saint Alphonsus in Eagle with minor injuries.

The deputy said he was wearing his seat belt.
