BOISE -- A Minnesota boy, whose big wish was to meet the Boise State Broncos and be part of the team, continued his dream tour in Boise on Friday.

12-year-old Shane Swanson has battled spina bifida his entire life. He received a wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation and his headed straight for the Boise State blue.

On Thursday, Swanson received star treatment when he arrived at the airport. And on Friday, he got a blue carpet welcome from some of the Bronco cheerleaders, BSU's swim team and other athletes.

He was then escorted to a news conference set up just for him, where he could answer questions and sign a letter of intent as an 'Honorable Member of Bronco Nation.'

"I'm like, 'Wow.' That's about the words that could come out of my mouth," said Swanson. "I thought it was awesome."

Swanson's incredible experience is the third wish granted by Boise State in the past four years.

He will be at Bronco Stadium for the game on Saturday.

You can hear more from Shane Swanson on KTVB's Bronco Roundup Pregame Show on Saturday, September 28th at 7 p.m.
