BOISE -- A local radio host is spending the week at the Boise Rescue Mission hoping to raise awareness about our homeless population.

KIDO's Kevin Miller will be at the River of Life Center for seven days. He is spending his days and nights inside the facility.

Miller is hoping to learn more about the men staying at the center, and let others know just how important this service is for the Boise area.

"It really makes me appreciate what I have. You know in these tough financial times we always think about what we don't have, but when you're looking for soap, towels, turkey, it makes you really appreciate what you have," said Miller.

Miller spent a week at the facility last year as well.

He hopes his experience will inspire others to visit the center and help provide it more resources.
