MOUNTAIN HOME -- A storm with strong winds, lightning, hail, and a small amount of rain roared through Mountain Home Tuesday afternoon.
KTVB meteorologist Larry Gebert says the strongest wind gusts measured about 40 miles-per-hour.
Viewers captured huge whirlwinds of dust that reduced visibility during the storm. Gebert says that can make it seem like "it's raining mud."
LJ Runyan sent KTVB a picture that shows the horse barn at the Ro-Dapple ranch damaged by the winds.
Cindy Taverne shared a video of dust blowing furiously throughout her home, and even picking up the family's trampoline.
