KUNA -- A large grass-fire was reported in Kuna near S. McDermott Road and W. Green Lane on Saturday.

Ada County dispatch says multiple calls came in at around 2:30 p.m. reporting a fire that was threatening structures.

Authorities say windy conditions carried the fire. Fire departments from Kuna, Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Melba worked together all day with the BLM to contain the fire.

The BLM remained the only unit out at the burnt area on Saturday night.

One residence was evacuated for a short time, but the homeowner was allowed back to their property. A single structure was threatened, but no structures were burned and no one was hurt.

The size of the fire or exact acreage burned has not yet been determined. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
