BOISE - At a celebration to honor his silver medal win in Vancouver, Jeret Speedy Peterson makes an announcement.  KTVB's Mark Johnson asked the athlete in front of a crowd of his fans, if he would be hitting the hill again, in Russia, in four years.

"The Olympics, 2014 Sochi, Russia," asked Johnson. "Any chance, any chance at all?"

"Honestly, I am tossing around the idea to be honest with you of going back," said Peterson. "This has been such an amazing ride and the experience of a lifetime, so you just might see me back there."

Several hundred fans turned out to downtown Boise this morning to honor Peterson.  The Boise native and Timberline High School graduate is known for his famous aerial acrobatic the "Hurricane."

Peterson won the silver medal, only losing gold by 1.2 points to Alexei Grishin of Belarus.
