BOISE -- Jacksons Food Stores is donating over $155,000 to help fight domestic violence.
The donation was received today by the Idaho Partners Against Domestic Violence.
They will distribute the funds to organizations against domestic violence from Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada.
The money came from the annual "Give the Gift of Peace" campaign led by the Jacksons Food Stores.
Over $80,000 came from customer donations and Jacksons matched that with a $75,000 donation.
"We are so excited to have the businesses such as Jacksons help us with this campaign, to get their customers on board, and to get the community on board to raise the awareness, and to raise the funds to help victims," said Teresa Baker, Idaho Partners Against Domestic Violence.
The campaign ran from Thanksgiving until Christmas. This was the sixth year for the campaign.
