NAMPA – A two vehicle crash on Interstate 84 left several people injured Saturday.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Lisa Nolan, 45, of Nampa was eastbound on I-84 at milepost 29 near Franklin Road. Traffic
was at a near standstill due to another crash in the area, and Nolan was almost stopped in traffic when her vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle driven by Staci Madrid, 30, of Caldwell.
Nolan was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash. She was not transported from the crash scene, but later checked into West Valley Medical Center where she was treated and released.
Madrid was not wearing her seatbelt and was transported to West Valley for injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
Madrid had three juvenile passengers in her vehicle as well. The two passengers in the back seat were wearing seatbelts. They were transported to West Valley Medical Center and released.
The juvenile passenger in the front seat was not wearing his seatbelt and was transported to West Valley before being taken to St. Alphonsus in Boise, where he is currently in stable condition.
The crash is still under investigation.
