KUNA -- Wildland firefighters from the Bureau of Land Management are fighting a 25-acre wildfire 8 miles south of Kuna near the Kuna Cave Road.

The fire was reported shortly before Noon, according to BLM Public Relations Specialist Brandon Hampton.

Hampton also told KTVB that fire investigators have confirmed that recreational target shooters using exploding targets caused the fire.

"You can actually buy exploding targets where you can mix two chemicals together," Hampton said.

As of 3 p.m., crews had contained the fire, and were working to prevent flare-ups.
