TWIN FALLS -- Air Magic Valley starts Saturday in Twin Falls. It has more than 10 different high-flying events.
"Welcome to Fat Albert Airlines. I'm Captain Ben Blanton."
Fat Albert is a plane used by the U.S. Armed Forces. It's a C-130 used to transport crews and cargo.
"The Blue Angels have the best job in the Navy and the Marine Corps. What we get to do is to travel the country, represent the pride and professionalism of the U.S. Navy and the Marine Corps," said Captain Ben Blanton.
Captain Blanton has been in the Marine Corps for 15 years, flying for 10. Thursday, they showed us all the plane can do, including a few moments of zero gravity.
"I was excited. I mean I've never been on something like that before and I mean when we hit like zero gravity that was just like ridiculous," said passenger Joey Bravo.
Folks on the ground enjoyed watching.
"The words that come to mind are awesome and unbelievable and boy, I wish we had equipment like that. But it's just admiration mainly," said Bob Lawrason, a WWII veteran.
He got out of the military in 1946. Lawrason enjoyed seeing all the changes since he served.
"They're just unbelievable how close they're flying and things like that. We were never allowed to fly that close because we didn't have that feather touch that they're having now," said Lawrason.
The Blue Angels are enjoying their stay in the Gem State.
"I'll tell you what, when you get to look around and you see the gorge and some of the scenery around here, it really almost takes your breath away," said Captain Blanton.
Folks in Twin Falls are glad to have them here.
"Course these are the best of the best," said Lawrason.
