BOISE -- Chainsaws seemed to be the tool of the day for cleaning up all those downed trees after Monday night's storm.
That was just what they were doing to clear a huge maple tree that fell at a home near 24th and State Street.
The home owner says the 75-foot tall maple tree was planted in the 1930s. It missed the house but did damage a fence. No one was hurt.
You have probably noticed if you were out today that there were a lot of other downed trees because of the storm that kept city clean-up crews busy.
