BOISE -- A former assistant principal at a Meridian high school has won an appeal to the Idaho Supreme Court in a lawsuit contending he was sexually harassed at work.
Wade Frogley was hired as the assistant principal at Mountain View High school in 2008. According to the Supreme Court ruling, Frogley contends the sexual harassment began a short time later, and that when he complained to supervisors, they retaliated against him with poor performance reviews.
A lower court judge issued a summary judgment in favor of the school district after the district argued the questionable behavior was simply normal but inconsiderate workplace conduct. In a ruling handed down Wednesday, the unanimous high court reversed that decision, saying there were enough questions in the case that it should have moved toward a trial.
