BOISE -- Representatives with the U.S. Forest Service will be on hand at several locations around southwest Idaho Monday to discuss job opportunities with prospective employees.
The job fairs will take place between 12:30 and 4:00 p.m. at Idaho Department of Labor offices in Caldwell, Meridian, Boise, Mountain Home, and Emmett.
Officials say jobs available are predominantly seasonal. Opportunities include fire management positions, recreation such as trail building or campground maintenance, biologist technician positions in wildlife and fisheries, and engineering technician jobs.
Seasonal jobs are often a stepping stone to permanent jobs.
Those who attend can learn more about job opportunities, how to apply, and even complete an application on site.
For more information on the job fairs, you can contact the Boise National Forest at 373-4100, the Department of Labor at 364-7781, or visit the Boise National Forest website.
