BURLEY -- A 29-year-old Rupert woman convicted of sexually abusing children has been accused of violating the terms of her probation three times since 2010.
The Times-News reports Emily Thurber will be arraigned on the latest charge next Tuesday.
She was placed on supervised probation after pleading guilty in 2009 to sexual battery of a minor and conspiracy to commit sex abuse of a minor. Thurber, whose fiance took part in the abuse that occurred between 2005 and 2008, was sentenced in 2010.
A judge ordered Thurber to serve up to 24 years in prison, terms that were suspended in favor of probation after she completed a state treatment program. She has since been accused of living at a residence not approved by her probation officer, among other probation violations.
