NAMPA -- The Nampa Civic Center is home to Star Fleet officers, hobbits, knights, space marines, and more this weekend.

It's all a part of Fandemonium -- a convention for fans of science fiction, horror, comics, anime, and gaming.

There are booths, panels, costume contests, and even a haunted house.

Event chairperson, Jamie Parker, says there's something for everyone. "We have everything from Star Trek that 40-50 year-old people, my parents were watching, my grandparents were watching, to new Star Trek that all the kids are watching now. It's this place where generations can bridge gaps, and they can all come together and talk about things that pass the test of time."

Fandemonium runs until midnight Saturday and from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday.
