Areas of heavy rain and thunderstorms rolled across southwest and central Idaho today and a very cold, moist low pressure system pulled across Oregon into northern Idaho. Showers will linger into the evening, but will end later tonight and skies will become partly cloudy in the Treasure Valley. Lows will dip to the low-mid 40's.
Mountain areas will see some lingering showers/t-storms Thursday, but the Treasure Valley will be mostly sunny and mild, although temperatures will remain below normal for a few days. Dry conditions will continue into the weekend with a gradual warming trend. Highs will reach the 80's over the weekend.
A few showers are possible again early in the week with highs in the upper 70's.
