BOISE -- A car that went up in flames earlier this month and now there is an arson investigation underway.
Ada County Sheriff's detectives say someone broke out the window of the car, poured gasoline inside and set it on fire.
It happened early in the morning on July 13 on Colt Drive. That’s south of Boise toward Amity and Cole roads.
The car, a 2003 Toyota Camry, is a total loss.
Sheriff's detectives are now trying to figure out who set the fire and this is one of their clues.
A black baseball cap with the word "flysociety" was found on the scene. Detectives believe it might have been left behind by someone involved with the fire. The underside of the hat's bill is solid red.
Anyone with information about the hat or the car fire is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
