BOISE -- Drunk driving arrests were way up this Saturday night after the Boise State-Idaho game.
Boise Police say illegal parking was another big problem.
Police say crowds inside and outside Bronco Stadium were well-behaved, and believe the patrols caught potential problems before they became more serious.
Boise Police had help from Nampa, Caldwell and Idaho State Police in looking for drunk drivers. A state grant funds that DUI task force.
Officers made 36 DUI arrests in Boise between the hours of 5 p.m. Saturday and 4 a.m. Sunday. That's about 3 times higher than a typical weekend night.
Officers issued 217 parking tickets in the neighborhoods surrounding Boise State University. On average, police write about 130 parking citations during a Bronco football game.
