BOISE -- Residents in East Boise woke up to an unpleasant surprise Saturday morning -- dozens of cars vandalized overnight.
Boise Police are investigating this latest rash of vandalisms that left windshields and windows smashed in the East Boise neighborhood near Timberline High School.
One woman, whose car was vandalized told KTVB that she doesn't live in the area, but was watching a house for a friend. She says nothing was stolen from her car.
Residents say this time of year makes it even more difficult to deal with something like this.
"I mean its someone's personal property that they've spent a lot of time and a lot of money to get for themselves and its really sad that it's a joy to someone else to terrorize that," said Chelsey Melbey.
Anyone whose property has been vandalized is advised to contact their insurance company and file a report with police.
