BOISE -- Divers spent several hours Friday recovering a pickup truck that was submerged in Lucky Peak Reservoir.
Inside the truck they found a man's body. Authorities says the victim is in his early 30s and from Boise. His identity has not been released.
Thursday night, a witness reported a vehicle went over the High Bridge near Highway 21.
Crews responded but felt their own safety was at risk, so they returned today with more resources and manpower.
"I know the vehicle was at a depth of, the tip of the vehicle the way it was positioned, was at a depth of 45-feet," said Lt. Kody Aldrich of the Ada County Sheriff's Office.
And that was just one of the problems crews faced in recovering the green Toyota pickup.
Poor underwater visibility and silt from the crash itself forced investigators to call off their efforts Thursday night.
"Because of that safety issues and the way the vehicle was positioned on the bottom of the lake, the divers left and came back this morning," said Aldrich.
When more help arrived this morning, they got to work. Divers located the truck and attached floatable balloons.
Law enforcement boats then floated the truck nearly a mile to a marina, where it was towed out of the water.
"Right now the cause is unknown, the investigation is underway. There was only one occupant in the vehicle. There doesn't appear to be any foul play any particular injuries or those types of things that would lead to us believe that there is any type foul play," said Aldrich.
Investigators say the male victim did not have any known medical conditions, nor does it appear he tried to stop before the truck went off the edge near the bridge.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office says this crash is being investigated as a possible suicide.
The county coroner was on scene and will do an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
