NAMPA -- The city of Nampa had a special honor Saturday as the mayor received Canyon County's commemorative 120-year flag.

In a small ceremony, Nampa Mayor Tom Dale received the flag, which first flew over the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.

The flag is a symbol of the county's 120th anniversary.

The flag will fly throughout the year in cities and events throughout Canyon County.
