BOISE -- After three works of art were rejected for the Boise City Plaza this week, a call is going out to all artists to try again.
The city is remodeling the plaza and wants to replace the artwork out front.
Three proposals were selected earlier this year from out of state artists, but the selecting committee said based on public feedback they decided to reject all the proposals.
Adam Park with the City of Boise says an open call will go out again to all local artists.
"We're hoping to have a process by which the artist can work more closely with the plaza design, so it becomes a real community amenity, both the plaza and the art together, and we can make it a real destination for people out of town and in Boise to come visit alike," said Park.
A date has not been set for art proposals.
